December 18-21, 2018 Master’s theses were presented at the Department of bread, confectionery, pasta and food concentrates technologies
From 19 to 21 December, students, which have finished their Master’s degree program “Technologies of bread, confectionery, pasta and food concentrates” (specialty 181 “Food Technologies”, had a great opportunity to present their theses and research projects for examination committee.
The defense of Master’s theses was held with highly professional committee headed by leading industry experts in the Odessa region such as head of the central laboratory of quality evaluation (“Odessakonditer”, LTD) Vasilenko S.L. and the Production Supervisor of “Odessa Karavay” LTD Ilchishin P.N.

Also on 18 December, multipurpose project “Development and evaluation the investment attractiveness of the bakery and pastry shop “SWEETS BAKERY” concept in Khmelnitsky» was presented to the consideration of examination committee. This project have envisaged the implementation of the national bakery production, environmental labeling product range and the construction of a cafe-bakery. Masters of specialties 181 “Food Technologies”, 241 “Hotel and Restaurant Business”, 101 “Ecology”, 051 “Economy” and 073 “Management” took part in its implementation.
Students have presented their project on a high level of knowledge and competencies. They also have shown their business and teamwork skills, thanks to that their project and theses were modern, interesting, innovative and topic of current interest.  The main aim of all project was to create innovative ways of improving the quality and technology, to expand the product market.
I would like to point out that the overall training level of young specialists respond the modern view on scientific, theoretical and practical requirements of confectionery and bakery production.
The staff of the department congratulates the students, which were awarded Master’s Degree with successful defense their projects and theses. All of us wish them that the knowledge and skills, acquired at the Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies, become the key for successful professional activity and career growth!
